Simsa, is situated barely a kilometer and a half,
short of manali town, a branching metalled road from hotel Preet
leading to kanyal village lands you at the destination in just under

enchanting height welcomes the visitor with a utopian charm.The
towering Deodars forming the perfect backdrop compel a visitor to

Simsa consists of about thirty odd huts furnished and fully equiped
to cater to the needs of the visitors.The huts are mostly three
room, sufficient to meet the demands of two average sized families,however,one
also finds ultra modern five room huts which are catering to the
changing trends of holidaying, thanks to the modern means of transportation
,by which four to five families travel in a maxi cab and prefer
a single cottage. Proximity of the cottages enable bigger groups
to holiday together.
The cottages are luxuriously furnished , consisting of attached
toilets, a drawing room and a kitchen with all the paraphernalia,
that a modern house wife would like to have at home.
The tariff of the cottages is reasonably priced, varying with the
the size of the cottages. The small, two rooms ones, being available
for upto three thousand a day, and the three and five room ones
costing anything from five to eight thousand, a day.Most cottages
give the facility of either self cooking or availing the services
of the inhouse cook at a very nominal charge.In addition to the
silven and the rustic location of the huts, one can have the rare
experience of taking a morning walk listening to the chirping of
the birds and see nature in its truest forms.No blaring of horns,
no factory sirens, not even the early vendors, screaming current
news into unwanting ears.
