Manish Chand: calm, composed, forthcoming, fun loving, a connoisseur on
multicuisines, and an encyclopedia on the charted as well as uncharted tourist circuits in the country. Spend an evening with him around the bonfire and hear him regale you with some of the most interesting anecdotes related to travel and food. His passion for both is sure to rub off on you.Gokul Chand: Small, agile, effervescent, and bursting with energy is the first impression you get of him. He is your perfect mate whether it be trekking to the nearest waterfall or the most arduous of mountain peaks. He is the dependable Gokul as he dexterously instructs you about all the adventures and he is the wild one as he steers you on the snow scooter, howling and zipping past the gaping onlookers to make way for you. Both are as different as chalk from cheese, yet both are driven by one common motto-that of playing the perfect hosts to you on your vacation at the Solang Valley camp Retreat. Activities at the Solang Valley Camp Retreat During the day indulge in a fitness game of volleyball, badminton, cricket, cycling or lounge peacefully on the hammock beside the gushing river. Short distance trek with backpack picnic lunch is another favorite with the campers. And then as dusk sets in, the surroundings take on a smoky hue against the clear starry night, and the mercury begins to plummet, you know it is time for making merry around the dancing flames of the bonfire with a hot drink, bar-be-cue, and shaking a leg or two to the peppy music. Paragliding for the daredevils, Zorbing – a huge transparent ball in which one is strapped & rolled down the grass meadows, horse riding, mountain biking, river crossing, rock climbing & rappelling are amongst a plethora of options. And hey! Keep a watch out for your Bollywood heartthrobs too! Solang Valley is one of the favorite shooting hotspots of the Indian film industry. The snow covered Solang Valley in winters ( October to March) offers a lifetime experience of sheer thrill when you get astride a snow scooter and zoom to the summit of the peaks, fervently try to ski, go sledging, mount a Yak, sit inside a tube and zip down the steep slopes – snow mobiling! There is so much more to be captured in your cameras and treasured in your memories forever!!! In summers all snow activities organized by us take place at the snow points of Kothi, Marhi, Beas Nallah or Rohtang Pass depending on the months of travel.
