About a 5 minute walk from Manali's main mall Hotel
Seagull was my long cherished vision. A vision that
I had been fostering ever since I saw the need of a reasonably
priced hotel with all the comforts desired by visitors to
Manali. One that focused on personalized service. Hotel
Seagull was built keeping in mind the visitors' wish
to stay in a tranquil and peaceful place yet within easy proximity
to the main shopping area. It was to be a place where our
guests could avail of all services that he would ever need
while on holiday. Finding an ideal spot to translate this
vision I built Hotel Seagull. I made sure
that the staff I recruited were pleasant and whose main attribute
was patience and a longing to serve. The entire idea was that
Hotel Seagull would be a retreat where guests could enjoy
the best in food, rooms, service and ambience and enjoy the
very best Manali has to offer.
Today I continue to share this spontaneous spirit of hospitality
that has been coming down from generation to generation in
our families. I come from the Khampa clan who were avid travellers
and who knew how important hospitality was to a traveller.
