Market. It takes 2 Hrs to reach there by Cab / Bus.
Manali is around 42 Kms from Kullu
and about 50 kms from Bhuntar Airport. Kullu to Manali is almost
the plain area but gives the feel of Switzerland on the highway.
From Nov to May / June one can see and enjoy Snow peaked mountains
completely covered with snow. And on the other side are Apple
Orchids and deodar Pine trees giving a relax feeling. It is
an amazing hill station for a holiday and a perfect stopover
for Leh Ladakh fans.
How to Reach Manali
By Train: Nearest Railway Station to Manali
is Chandigarh and Pathankot. From Chandigarh it takes around
8 Hrs where as from Pathankot it takes 9 Hrs. One can get Non
Ac Buses from Chandigarh to Manali but from Pathankot there
are no frequest Bus Service. Hiring a Car from Chandigarh to
Manali will cost approx Rs 5000/- (Dropping only)
By Road: Kullu Manali is connected by road
From Delhi, Panipat, Ambala, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Haridwar,
Kasauli, Ludhiana etc.
By Air : Bhuntar Airport at Kullu. Not Operation

in Apr - May and June. Nov to Mar is the Snow Period
