Welcome to Tree House Cottages !

Tree House Cottages is a unique, one-of-a-kind family-run cottage service, set in the picturesque Kullu-Manali valley, Himachal Pradesh, India. Our home-stay feel cottages, are the most charming cottages you can find at and around Manali.

In 1996, we opened up our home, and created beautiful, cosy cottages, so that visitors from around the world could get a feel of living in the authentic and natural atmosphere of the majestic Himalays and the rustic Himachal Pradesh.

Each of our cottages has been carefully designed, crafted, and furnished to ensure that you get a tantalizing taste of the Himachal hospitality, the warmth of our vibrant culture, and peace of our pristine surroundings.

Set in a landscape of 1.5 hectres, the cottages are surrounded by lush green lawn, apple, plum and walnut orchard groves, dotted by bunches of colourful scented flowers.

If you're looking for a holiday in the Himalays, away from clutter of tourists and commercial hotels, then head over to our cottages. We are approved by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department(HPTDC), for tweleve years now, awarded by the Chief Minister for our outstanding services, and most impostantly won the hearts of travellers and tourists from all over the globe.

Located away, from the hustle-bustle of the crowds, and yet strategically situated only a few kilometers from important spots of Manali, Solang, Naggar, Chandrakani, Malana, Rohtang, Bijli Mahadev, Parashar Lake, Kasol and Kullu, our cottages give you the best of both worlds.

Our doors are open to you all through the year. You can enjoy all the four seasons and absorb the divine beauty of the Himachal Himalayas. The vibrant Spring season, when the cold thaws, and the buds bloom, hearlds a host of joyful butterflies of all hues. Summer is pleasantly cool and is a soothing song for people from hot climates. Fishing, river-rafting, and trekking are only few of the activities you can indulge in. Autumn brings with it plums, apples, walnuts, kiwi fruits, plenty of soothing breeze, and long, peaceful walks on the mountains. Winter in the cottages are sheer joy. Gentle snow - never severe enough to hurt you - campfires, and lots of winter games, like skiing, and hiking, at the Solang Valley close by.

Tree House Cottages, is a family-run cottage service.

Mr. Sarup Upadhyay is the founder and creator of the cottages. Being an enginner by profession, his passion, vision and aesthetic designs are visible in each room, of every cottage.

He is ably supported by his two sons - Ambrish and Rakesh, who efficiently deal with the management and maintanence of the Tree House Cottages.

The ladies of the house are responsible for giving the cottages a touch of warmth and home-like environment. They take care of the cows and ensure that there's daily supply of fresh milk. They also make sure that kitches are fully equipped with all amenities, so that plently of hot, delicious meals can be prepared.

The family been recently blessed with twin baby girls, who have rightfully taken their place as the apples of everones eyes.

We have a total three units of different styles of cottages to suit your personal and family holiday needs : two cosy luxurious cottage units, and one exciting tree house cottage.

Each cottage is furnished tastefully to give you comfort, luxury, and the arresting ambiance of the hills. Amenities like attached western bathrooms, fully-eqipped kitchen, fridge, and room-heaters, make our cottages the favoured choice for travellers from around the world.

Cottage- Unit - I

Cottage unit - I is amidst a beautiful flower garden with tall trees. You are treated to an absorbing valley view, with the Himalays towering over you. It has two bedrooms with attached tub bath, an equipped kitchen, a dining room,a Sitting room ,and a verandah.The glorious garden is yours for exploring and you and your friends and family can get together for a bon fire night and talk about the tales and wonders of Himalayas!

Cottage- Unit - II

Cottage unit 2 has equally cosy and comfy interiors, rooms with independent accessories and a separate kitchen suite. The view from windows is refreshingly enchanting. It consists of three rooms(with heaters), a fully equipped kitchen, a verandah, and western bathrooms. This cottage is set between apple, plum and walnut orchards, with plenty of room for camp fires.
